memories login

Authenticate with memories.sh for cloud features.

memories login [options]

Log in to your memories.sh account to enable cloud sync and other premium features.

Options

--api-url <url>API base URL (default: https://memories.sh)

Login Flow

memories login
  1. Generates a random authentication code
  2. Opens your browser to the memories.sh login page
  3. Polls the API until authentication completes (up to 5 minutes)
  4. Saves the token and email to ~/.config/memories/auth.json

The auth file is stored with restricted permissions (mode 0600).

Logout

memories logout

Removes the stored authentication credentials.
